This is my first real post, and I like to introduce the world setting of my current ongoing game project, Other Age Second Encounter or OASE.
For those who didn’t know, OASE is sequel to one of my game, Other Age. The story is pretty simple— You are Princess of Zeiva Kingdom, and you are supposed to use a machine to summon 1 out of 10 possible guys to date. All the guys are from my other games, Genetic Glow and Imaginary Realm. Simply put, Other Age is a combination of dating-sim parody and original characters cameo.

OASE is pretty similar to Other Age, except this time you are Prince of Zeiva Empire, and you have to summon girls from my other games.
I am aware that majority of Other Age fans are female, but why did I go for a different gender this time? The reason is simple— I didn’t want to repeat what I did before. As much as I like my male characters, it would be boring to write another dating-sim with the same cast.
If you are female, and you are getting disappointed that OASE is for boys— Don’t worry, OASE is turning out to be more of an adventure game. There are plenty fun stuff to discover regardless of your gender. We hope to please both fangirls and fanboys =D
Back to the main topic— The world setting of OASE is Zeiva Empire. As you can probably tell, it is named that way as an indication of a bigger place than Zeiva Kingdom, the previous world setting of Other Age.
Zeiva Empire is standing still above the sea. The Queen of Zeiva Empire, Mirage XXIV claimed that it is the largest underwater paradise in the universe, while many believe that it’s just a mere theme park— Truthfully enough, a large portion of Zeiva Empire is actually above the sea, and they are generally filled with visitors all over the universe. So much for an underwater paradise!
The biggest structure in Zeiva Empire is Mirage Castle. You will get the chance to explore Mirage Castle in the first half of the game. Mirage Castle is divided into multiple levels:
Level 0 – Colosseum — The fighting hall (What is a fighting arena doing in a dating-sim? XD)
Level 1 – Main Hall — This is where you start.
Level 2 – Exhibition Hall — Gallery of Queen’s bizarre collection.
Level 3 – Shopping Mall — You can play Personality Test Game, Fortune Telling Game, and Photo Shooting Game.
Level 4 – Theater — Sit back and watch movie.
There are also additional secret places lurking underground, and the rumored mysterious 5th floor that no one can enter.
If you are wondering what a pair of broken heart doing on the sky of Zeiva Empire, that is actually a twin moon called Pluto and Charon. According to the legend, something is going to happen when the twin moon becomes one. Obviously it’s up to the player to solve the mysteries. =D
